Life is better now. I now know who my real friends are. I spend quality time with special people who also see a real friend in me. This makes me happy, albeit the tiny number of them now.

Life is better now. More locals are buying Filipino brands. I sense a resurgent pride in Philippine heritage and culture. There have been attempts to help and develop the country’s almost non-existent weaving industry. I hope they get to the fruition of their well-meaning endeavors.

Life is better now. Because of technology, it is now infinitely easier to do things online—research, learning, buying, etc.

Life is better, at least for now.
