Hapag chef Kevin Navoa, who joins us in celebrating the 125 th anniversary of the Manila Bulletin, life gets better, no matter how bad it gets, when you know exactly what you are living for

Life is definitely better now.

For most of my life, I just got by, doing things that made me happy. It wasn’t the most exciting life, but it was enough to keep me going

But then I found my purpose, and everything changed. Having a clear sense of purpose gave me a newfound meaning in life. It’s been a game-changer for me.

I believe my current purpose is to share Filipino cuisine and culture with the world. I want to dance in the box I’ve been given, expressing myself creatively and without apology.

I believe my current purpose is to share Filipino cuisine and culture with the world. I want to dance in the box I’ve been given, expressing myself creatively and without apology. I know I have a responsibility to my country to fulfill this and maybe even inspire others along the way.

And let me tell you, life is much better when you inspire someone, and they find the strength to inspire others too. It’s like a ripple effect, and it can make a real difference in the world.

I hope the reader one day stumbles upon this luck I have come across because it surely will keep them going in this very exciting time we all live in.
