We live in an amazing time.  I am reminded of how technology has allowed us to get closer to our family through the use of video calls all over the world.

Our province family is located in Dinagat and our ability to communicate with them was always limited by the terrible internet connectivity—until we installed Starlink internet.

Now we can have crystal clear calls with our Dinagat family and feel closer than ever.  Now the next step is to bring this incredible technology to remote schools all around the Philippines so that students can have the ability to use better tools for learning which will bring up the fortunes of all the Philippines.

Who would have thought 10 or even five years ago that the term eco-friendly could be applied to luxury resorts?

We live in an incredible time of opportunity and potential prosperity for all.

Who would have thought 10 or even five years ago that the term eco-friendly could be applied to luxury resorts?  Yet these days that is exactly what is happening, as resorts like City of Dreams Manila and many others have eliminated tens of millions of single use plastics, installed large solar power arrays, and waste recycling and diversion initiatives.

Luxury now means indulgence and responsibility at the same time.  Something that would not have happened in the past.

I look forward to the days when we can walk around our wonderfully busy urban home of Manila and not be subject to extreme loud noise and toxic emissions as quiet electric cars and scooters glide by in relative clean air silence.

The past was certainly great, but our current quality of life and future prospects are incredible.

Now if only we can just put our phones down and talk to each other.
