Navotas LGU strives to improve quality of life for Navoteño

Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to enhancing city residents’ quality of life by focusing on accessible, essential services.

The city government’s goal is to uplift the living standards of every Navoteño by prioritizing key services like health, housing, education, livelihood, and peace and order.

Guided by the vision, “NavotaAs: Itaas ang antas ng buhay ng mga Navoteño” (“Raise the quality of life for Navoteños”), the city is implementing initiatives that empower communities and foster long-term growth.

Health Programs: Ensuring accessible and affordable care

Expanding healthcare access is a cornerstone of the city’s development plans.

Tiangco has invested in upgrading health facilities to ensure clinics and medical centers are well-equipped and staffed with skilled professionals.

Programs include routine check-ups, vaccinations, health education, and preventive care, making healthcare more accessible and affordable for all.

Housing: Providing stability and security

In densely populated Navotas, safe and affordable housing is a priority.

He said that stable housing is essential for building resilient families and communities.

The LGU has also introduced financial assistance programs to support homeownership and improve living conditions, reinforcing a stable foundation for all families.

Recognizing Navotas’ historic ties to fishing, the LGU also promotes sustainable fishing practices, preserving both the environment and the city’s cultural heritage.

The city government has strengthened its partnership with law enforcement to implement effective crime prevention, increase police visibility, and promote community policing.
